About Meridian Rose

A meridian is the line a navigator steers by — fixed, reliable, indifferent to weather. The compass rose is the instrument that makes it readable. The name is also its founder's: Rose is the family name Kimberly Rose-Hubbard carries into every engagement. Meridian Rose is what those ideas become as a practice — a fixed point of independent judgment for people navigating two of the most consequential commitments they will make.

[Placeholder biography — replace with Kimberly's real background.] Kimberly Rose-Hubbard has spent her career at the intersection of franchising and risk — years that included [franchise industry role/experience placeholder] and [insurance industry role/experience placeholder]. She founded Meridian Rose after watching too many capable people make ten-year commitments on the strength of a two-day discovery visit, and too many families discover the limits of their coverage only after the claim.

Philosophy

Why independent counsel

A handshake concluding an engagement

Nearly everyone a franchise buyer or insurance client meets in the ordinary course of a transaction is compensated by the other side of it. Franchise development officers are paid when you sign. Brokers are paid when you bind. None of this makes those people dishonest — but it does mean that the one chair usually empty at the table is the one occupied by someone paid only by you, and only for judgment.

Meridian Rose fills that chair. We take no commissions, sell no products, and accept no referral fees from franchisors or carriers. When we recommend that you walk away, it costs us exactly as much as when we recommend that you proceed. That symmetry is the entire point of the practice.

Meet Kimberly before you need her.

The best engagements begin early — before the FDD arrives, before the renewal notice, before the claim.
